Despite the UK’s commitment to reducing urban congestion and emissions, cargo bikes remain underfunded and underutilised. With only 0.5% of the cycling infrastructure dedicated to cargo bikes, there is a pressing need for increased investment and policy support. Expanding cargo bike fleets could significantly enhance last-mile delivery efficiency and sustainability.
